Soya Cutlet

Ingredients:
So ya Granules 1 cup
Potato Boiled and Mashed 1 cup
Carrot 1 grated
Boiled Peas 1/2 cup
Onion 1 Medium Size
Green Chili 2 chopped
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Chili powder 1 tsp
Coriander Powder 1 tsp
Ginger paste 1 tsp
Garlic Paste 1 tsp (optional)
salt for taste
Bread Crumbs For Coating
Oil
Coriander Leaves
Process:

  • In a saucepan, bring to boil 3-4 Cups of water. Add 1 tsp salt, and 1 cup So ya Granules. Simmer for 5 minutes on low heat.
  • The strain the cooked granules and drain the water. Wash granule softly with cold water. Leave Granules to drain water for 10 minutes. Once water is drain, squeeze Granules and remove water as much as you can.
  • Heat 1 tsp Oil in a nonstick pan. Add chopped green chilies, and Ginger paste. Saute for few seconds. Add Onion and saute until Onion become translucent.
  • In a mixing bowl, add cooked granules, mashed Potato, Peas, Grated Carrot, Coriander, Cumin Powder, Onion Mixture and salt to taste. Mix nicely. Taste the mixture and add salt or chili powder to adjust flavor according to your taste.
  • Make medium and flat cutlet (patties). Spread Bread Crumbs in a plate. Place 1 cutlet over it and Coat both the sides of Cutlet with bread crumbs.
  • Grease nonstick pan with little oil. Place coated cutlets in the pan. Shallow fry them over medium low heat.
