Peanut laddu


Peanuts 1 cup

Jaggery 2 cups
Ghee 1/2 tsp


  1. Roast peanuts in a pan without oil,
  2. Remove Peanuts from flame after turning light brown
  3. Cool and rub with hands to remove the brown layer from peanuts
  4. Remove shells on peanuts
  5. In a pan add cup of water to Jaggery and make thick syrup (If you drop a quarter tsp. of syrup in water, while taking it from water, you can make a ball our of it. This is called thick (mudarapakam) syrup

  6. Off the stow and add roasted peanuts and ghee
  7. Mix thoroughly
  8. If you want to make balls, you have to make balls after applying ghee on your hands but still your hands will become red because of the hot stuff. So pl. pour the peanut syrup in a ghee greased plate.
  9. After 5 minutes, cut as Chikkies
  10. After cooling down, you can remove those pieces and store in a dry container for one month
