Shrimp With Chikkudu Gingalu/Papdi Lilva Beans


Shrimp 2 cups
Boiled Papdi Lilva Beans 1 cup

Turmeric 1/4 tsp
Fresh Coconut a small Piece
Chili Powder 2 tsp
Coriander Powder 1 tbsp
Salt For taste
Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
Onions 2
Cloves and Cinnamon each 2
Green Chili s 2
Curry Leaves a few
Coriander Leaves


  • First Take the Onions,Coconut, Green chills and grind it and keep it aside.
  • Heat the pan with 2 tbsp oil and add cloves and Cinnamon for it and fry it for a min .
  • Next add the Onion paste till it becomes golden brown color or raw smell disappears and add ginger garlic paste,Turmeric powder,Curry leaves fry another 2 min
  • For the above mixture add shrimp,Coriander,Chili powder,salt and saute them.
  • Add Boiled Papdi Lilva Beans, little water and stir them until it cooked
  • Finely Garnish with Coriander leaves
Serve with Pu lav or Steamed Rice.
Serving Size: 3 to 5 people
