Indian Cucumber With Jaggery( Dosakaya Pulusu)

Ingredients:

Indian Cucumber 1
Onion 1
Green Chili 2
Chili Powder 2 tsp
Jaggry/Sugar 11/2 tbsp
Tamarind pulp 2 tsp Or According to Your taste
Turmeric 1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds ,Channa Dal.Urad Dal each 1 tsp
Curry Leaves
Rice Flou Or Maida 1 tbsp mix with water
Salt
Oil

Method:

  • Chop the Dosakaya (Indian Cucumber) Into Cube size Pieces and Finaly Chop the onions n Green Chilli
  • Take the kadai with 1 tbsp oil Do all seasonings(poppu)
  • Next add the Onions and Green chilli's,Curry Leaves fry 2 -3 min.
  • Then add Cucumber Pieces,turmeric,chili powder,tamarind pulp salt to taste and 1 1/2 cups water
  • Cucumber cooks completely then finally add rice flour mixture and jaggery cook another 2 min then switch off the flame
Serve with Toor Dal (Mudda Pappu) mm Yummy!!
