BEETROOT SOUP WITH SPRING ONIONS


Ingredients:
1 medium(or) large size Beetroot
1Tomato
1 Onion
1 small potato
1/2 cup fresh curd(or) cream
1 spring onion(optional)
salt to taste
pepper to taste
butter small piece

Process:

  • peeled the beetroot and potato cut into medium pieces
  • First you should put all ingredients in presser cooker or any soup pot with 5 cups of water and butter expect spring onions,curd

  • Pressure cook till you hear 3 whistles,When the pressure is reduced open the lid cool it off

  • Put the mixture into blender with curd
  • once the mixter is too soft,then strian well adding little bit water as if required

  • Boil the sieved liquid in vessel with salt ,pepper just 2to3 min,don't burn
    Remove from fire.
  • Garnish the soup chopped with spring onions,coriander leaves and serve hot.

    serving :4-5 people
